On 23 September we held a second event in our series for those working in the private sector interested in developing their thinking in matters related to faith, ethics, business and economics. We considered the topic of net zero and energy security in the Vestry of St Mary-le-Bow Church in the City of London where we were hosted by Fr Simon Cuff.
Our speakers were:
Anne Devlin, who after 22 years as an Oil Trader at BP has focused on the energy transition, investing in utility-scale solar development platforms and cleantech and microgrid solutions.
Stephen Beer, who has extensive experience managing and integrating responsible investment funds, including recently as Head of Responsible Investment Strategy for L&G with a focus on climate transition.

This series of events provides a dedicated space for those in the private sector, intended to develop their thinking in matters related to faith, ethics, business and economics. We aim to provide a dedicated space to examine how ethical questions bear on business practice and how contemporary issues may affect practitioners. Most of these engagements will be through evening gatherings which will feature insights from one or two guest speakers preceded and followed by a drinks reception. We hope participants gain insight and build relationships with like-minded peers.
