CEME is delighted to announce an upcoming Zoom event that you may want to pencil into your diaries. CEME is committed to debating the real issues that affect the economy and our moral response to the challenges so that we can build a market economy founded on ethical values.
The event is on the issue of “Inflation: A Dangerous Prospect” (formal title to be confirmed), which will take place on Thursday 18th March, 1pm – 2.15pm. Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach will be our main speaker, together with a response from a market participant, followed by audience interactions. Lord Griffiths taught at the LSE and City University and was Dean of the City University Business School. He was Head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit from 1985 to 1990. Lord Griffiths has been Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs International, now an international adviser. He is Chair of the Board of the Centre for Enterprise, Markets and Ethics.
